Description
The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to ensure that the regional agencies agree on the purpose and use of regional data coordination. The MOU should define at a high–level the types of information that will be shared by the participating stakeholders, how that information will be used, how the data will be collected and shared, and who will have access to the data. Through the MOU, the participating stakeholders should be able to identify their data needs and the data that can make available.
