Description
The purpose of the Operating Agreement is to ensure that the traffic management agency and maintenance and construction agency are in agreement on their roles and responsibilities, how workzone devices will be deployed, what data will be disseminated and collected and how data will be used to manage the workzone and traffic. The MOU may also outline any potential parameters for sharing control of traffic devices between the agencies.
This may represent multiple OAs between different stakeholders. For example, one OA may only be between a jurisdiction's traffic management entity and its maintenance and construction entity.
